Our Differentiators

Our Differentiators
Our company plans on charging significantly less per acre than other leading competitors for both harvesting and disposal. According to a 2018 Water Chestnut Control Study done in the town of Watervliet by Weston & Sampson, The leading competitor, SOLitude Lake Management, offers their services at a rate of approximately $1200 an acre to harvest, with a $1200 disposal fee per acre. EcoErie can offer the same services at approximately $800 per acre to harvest with an $800 disposal fee. However, if the client has a predesignated space for disposal, we could dispose of it for free. The major differentiating factor between EcoErie and other companies is our plan to become a main green renewable energy producer through the conversion of organic waste into various forms of energy. EcoErie plans on obtaining the necessary field knowledge required to begin the process of transforming invasive aquatic plant species such as the Water Chestnut into energy.
