Best Invasive Plants Harvesting Service

Best Invasive Plants Harvesting Service
EcoErie is a company dedicated to the preservation and protection of the ecosystem. More specifically, we are focused on the degradation being caused to NYS waterways by an invasive aquatic plant species called the Water Chestnut or Trapa natans.

EcoErie’s first-year goal is to begin operations this summer clearing the Mohawk and Hudson rivers of Water Chestnuts. Initially, we plan to focus our harvesting efforts to stretch 20 miles west of Lock 6 and 20 miles north and south of Waterford. However, ultimately, our goal is to be a premier renewable energy provider that helps reduce greenhouse gases using mobile Erie Canal Biodigesters that generate electricity from renewable natural gas derived from New York’s organic waste and invasive aquatic species. Our mission aims to:
Harvest invasive aquatic plant species that are causing degradation to the environment
  • Provide cost-effective energy production for New York’s citizens
  • Reduce greenhouse gases
  • Provide local jobs through the production of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG)

As a local company, EcoErie differentiates itself from other leading competitors by providing lower prices than competitors because our equipment and team members do not need to be moved around to different geographic locations. Through doing this, EcoErie is able to provide local jobs to New York State. If you would like to start recovering New York's waterways right now, write us a message through the contact form below so we can start discussing how!
